I’m Sara, a hair and makeup artist with a love of creativity, connection and helping people feel their best.

Originally from the UK, I moved to Australia in 2008 to follow my dreams and embrace new opportunities. My journey into hair and makeup started with my love of art and self-expression. I’ve always enjoyed working with different mediums, experimenting with ideas and bringing something from imagination into reality. Discovering hair and makeup felt like a natural progression. A way to combine artistry, skill and connection with people.

I love that every face tells a different story. For me, the beauty of this industry is in the details. The subtle changes that can enhance someone’s features, complement their personality and create a look that feels like them.

In 2020, I was honoured to receive the MAGAP Student MUA of the Year award, a milestone that celebrated the dedication I had poured into developing my craft. Since then, I’ve continued to expand my experience, collaborating with incredible people and being part of projects across the beauty, creative and entertainment industries.

Sara Chisholm Artistry was built around something I truly believe in: creating moments where people feel confident, beautiful and excited to show up as themselves. I want every client to enjoy the experience as much as the final result.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my cat Onyx, watching a good series (Bridgerton is a favourite), catching up with friends, dancing or finding inspiration in the world around me. I believe life is about creating, connecting and finding joy in the little things.
